Introducing New Braunfels Chiropractor Dr. Wes Stamps

Dr. Wes Stamps

"Not many people are fortunate to be doing in life the one thing they love to do, but I am," says Dr. Wes Stamps. "I knew I wanted to be a Chiropractor at a very young age. Following a car accident in the 5th grade, I developed a ulcer-type pain in my stomach which was not relieved by any traditional medical treatments. After much searching, I received my first Chiropractic treatment, and was amazed to find my pain was relieved. From that day on, I have set my sights on helping others reach optimal health and wellness through Chiropractic care."

After completing his pre-med studies at Abilene Christian University, Dr. Stamps was accepted to Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. Upon graduating in 1995 with his Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Stamps was awarded the highly esteemed "Parker Philosophy and Principles Award given to him by the late Dr. Jim Parker for displaying the high morals and chiropractic philosophies of Parker College of Chiropractic. Dr. Stamps moved to New Braunfels to begin his Chiropractic practice and to fulfill his dream of having a Chiropractic Wellness Center. In New Braunfels, Dr. Stamps has been awarded the People's Choice Chiropractor of the Year for 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

"Educating my patients on the benefit of Chiropractic is a passion of mine," says Dr. Wes Stamps. "After 15 years in practice, I still love to explain all the possible benefits of Chiropractic, and see the amazement on my patients faces. I strive daily to have all my patients fully understand what Chiropractic is, what I do and how Chiropractic can benefit their overall quality of life and health."

"My wife, Lisa and I have two children. Both children receive regular Chiropractic care, and are happy, healthy, "well-adjusted" kids. My passions outside of providing Chiropractic care include spending time with my family, playing golf and hunting."

Dr. Stamps' dream of having a Chiropractic practice that would help everyone achieve optimal health and wellness is a reality in New Braunfels. Dr. Wes Asks some important questions of interest to New Braunfels residents - Chiropractor New Braunfels Dr. Wes Asks...

How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a New Braunfels chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
